Artist steal
Difference between copying and being inspired?
-Copying is taking an artists' artwork and stealing their whole idea. Being inspired is taking an artists' artwork and making your own artwork based on that idea. At the beginning of this unit I would've said that copying is almost the same as stealing an artists' idea/artwork and that being inspired is making your own artwork based on an idea that you've seen before.
For example for my Character Remix Project, I was inspired to draw Sven on Olaf's body from the movie Frozen.
For the final project, I decided to make "Duck Tape", (A duck made out of duct tape). I used duct tape to wrap the duck around and after I was done wrapping the duck with tape, I cut it open so it was hollow inside and the shape of a duck still formed.
