Petals
For my art project, I chose to do different perspectives of a flower. By doing this it looks different and unique. I first thought of this idea when I saw some flowers in a vase in the back of the classroom. I thought that I could draw a flower everyday and draw different parts of the flower. I even zoomed in on the flower to make it look more close up. I drew a flower everyday, for 3 days. (the pictures are below) I also improved my skill with familiar materials like chalk pastel and mixed some colors together to make the flower look more realistic. The technique I used for this project was using value by shading the chalk pastel with my fingers to make it a smooth texture.
